OCA Global is proud to announce its participation as a founding partner of the Andalusian Cybersecurity Cluster, located at the Andalusian Cybersecurity Center (CIAN) in Malaga. This initiative, officially presented by the Junta de Andalucía, has as its main objective to boost the cybersecurity technology sector in the region.
As an active member of the cluster, OCA Global is committed to working on several fronts to strengthen the cybersecurity ecosystem in Andalusia:
- Stimulate development and innovation in cybersecurity, supporting agents in the technology sector.
- Promoting Andalusian technological products and services, ensuring their certification and recognition.
- Encourage collaboration between professionals, companies and public administrations.
- To promote innovation in technological and structural projects within the cluster.
- Promote training in cybersecurity, increasing the qualification of professionals in the sector.
- Encourage the adoption of regulatory frameworks for certification in cybersecurity at national and international level.
- Contribute to the development of the cybersecurity technology sector in Spain and Europe from Andalusia.
The Andalusian Cybersecurity Cluster was officially presented by the Minister of the Presidency, Interior, Social Dialogue and Administrative Simplification, Antonio Sanz, highlighting the participation of the universities of Granada, Malaga, Cordoba and Seville, together with the main companies in the sector. The cluster currently has 60 member companies and institutions.
The Andalusian Government has planned an investment of 1,000 million euros in cybersecurity until 2027, of which 200 million have already been executed. This strategy has the challenge of keeping up to date with the latest trends and innovations in cybersecurity, bringing in the best experts to share their knowledge.
OCA Global will help Andalusia become a benchmark in cybersecurity, benefiting both the local community and the European technology landscape.
