Introducing the SEC-ICSF:2021 standard of Industrial Cybersecurity
Due to the exponential increase in cyber attacks both nationally and internationally, the concern about cybersecurity is present in many debates.
Overcoming a cyberattack can cost between € 60,000 and € 2 million. But the impact is not only economic, there is also a reputational, operational damage, on people, on compliance and on strategy.
The regulatory landscape in industrial cybersecurity is complex and, in a way, ambiguous. That is why there was a need to define a set of controls for the industrial environment that adjusted to a proper level of security. Here comes the creation of the SEC-ICSF: 2021 standard, in collaboration with OCA Global.
The standard offers a feasible industrial cybersecurity regulatory framework, for all types of activity or size. It allows reaching an adequate level of risk with a minimum number of controls, in order to obtain a certification endorsed by OCA Global that adds value throughout the supply chain.
