Nascor Formación has raised almost € 900,000 from the first round of funding from the Next Generation UE program
In July 2020, the Next Generation EU program was approved by the European Council to stimulate recovery in Europe from the economic and social consequences of COVID-19. These funds, distributed among the Member States, are based on two main elements: the Recovery and Resilience Facility and the Recovery Assistance for Cohesion and the Territories of Europe (REACT-EU). In this regard, the projects eligible for European funding must be aligned with digital transformation, green transition, equality and social and territorial cohesion.
The Autonomous Communities, responsible for managing the corresponding endowment, have allocated part of these funds to vocational training for employment. In this case, Nascor Formación has been the beneficiary from the management of a training package with a budget of almost €900,000 and more than 1,800 students. All these training activities are focused on digitization, ecology and the care of people.
Specifically, the training division of OCA Global has been awarded € 617,048.45 from the REACT-EU Fund, whose objective is the requalification of employed and unemployed people. With this call, Nascor will execute 46 courses and certificates and will train 1,217 people, in their delegations of Catalonia and Aragon.
It also received € 172,120 from the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism (RRM). This training package aims to improve the digital skills of unemployed women living in rural populations of less than 30,000 inhabitants, in Aragon and Catalonia. Both delegations will manage 13 courses and will train 520 students.
Finally, in relation to the Next Generation-EU funds, Nascor will manage part of the + Talent programme, a project promoted by the SOC of Catalonia whose objective is to meet the training needs of university people in the digital fields, green economy and attention to people. These training actions have, in most cases, levels 4 and 5, a novelty in the history of vocational training for employment. Within this program, Nascor will launch 6 training courses, with around 200 places and will work with a total grant of € 91,722.
