Draft Survey

Draft Survey is useful to guarantee to the receiver of goods that the discharged amount of cargo corresponds to the amount agreed with the seller. This verification is done by calculating the water displacement before and after the loading and/or unloading.

HOLDS AND HATCHES INSPECTION

Hold inspections, before the loading of cargo, is a quality assurance services to guarantee that the vessel is ready to receive cargo without risking of contamination from other substances, previous cargo, nor cleansing products or water. Besides, we also do hatch inspection, assuring that those close hermetically and avoiding the entrance of water or other substances that may contaminate the cargo.

Pre-Shipment Inspection

OCA GLOBAL is accredited under ISO 17020 standard to perform PSI inspections. These inspections allow us to verify the quality and characteristics of your products before its shipment. This helps our clients to mitigate the risk of receiving damaged products, fomenting the early detection of problems, saving time and money to our clients.

Due to this service nature, our PSI can be adapted to each client and product needs, ensuring that the packaging, loading and shipping of product is done as per the agreed terms and specifications.

Bunker Surveys

Our large experience performing Bunker survey before and after a chartering period help our clients to reduce losses and solve claims in the event of a dispute. These inspections establish the quantity of bunker and lube oil on board in a specific moment, or during bunker operations.

On-Hire/Off-Hire Inspections

Our inspections provide to our clients a real image of the condition of a vessel at the beginning and/or the end of a charter term. We inspect the equipment and facilities on board, documenting its current state and maintenance condition. This information is critical in the event of a claim about the condition and maintenance of a vessel after a charter term.

Vessel Damage Inspection

OCA GLOBAL inspectors carry out the inspection and appraisal of the damages caused on the vessels, during any of the phases of loading and/or unloading of cargo.
