OCA Global has had the honor of delivering the renewal certificates for the Protected Designation of Origin "Formatge de l'Alt Urgell i La Cerdanya" and "Mantega de l'alt Urgell i La Cerdanya" to CADÍ (Cadí Societat Cooperativa Catalana Limitada). In both cases, 2024 will mark 20 years since the start of certification, making these certifications some of the oldest uninterruptedly issued by OCA Global.
The products covered by these certifications are marketed under the brands "Formatge Urgèlia", "Formatge Ceretà" and "Mantega Cadí".
The delivery of the certificates took place at the large stand that Cadí has had installed during these days at the Alimentaria Fair in Barcelona. The people in charge of receiving the certificates on behalf of Cadí were Anna Puigcercós, Managing Director, and Mª Carmen Flotats, Quality Manager. On behalf of OCA Global, the certificates were handed over by David Fernández, PDO Auditor and Jaime Forment, Agri-Food Product Manager.
