OCA Global acquires Supercontrol, a leading food and agriculture inspection company

On May 31, 2021, OCA Global acquired 100% of the shares of the Tarragona-based commodities inspection company "Supercontrol Maritime Services", which will become part of OCA Global's Maritime and Commodities Inspection division.

This acquisition is part of the division's growth strategy for the year 2021 and will allow OCA Global to position itself as a reference company in Tarragona for the provision of inspection services for agri-food commodities. In addition, this integration complements and expands the technical capabilities of the division, incorporating more than 30 years of experience in the sector of the current Supercontrol team, as well as the company's assets.

Supercontrol has a long history and solid reputation in the market, which is an immediate reinforcement for the expansion of commodity inspection services in Spain. 

On the other hand, for Supercontrol's current clients, this operation will allow them to have access to a broader portfolio of services, as well as access to new technological tools, while maintaining the excellent service quality levels that have been provided.
These clients will also benefit from the advantages of working for a large multinational group, being able to be served not only in the rest of Spain, but also in the more than 50 countries where OCA Global provides its services..
