The Spanish public company dedicated to civil and military shipbuilding, Navantia, has entrusted OCA Global with the non-destructive testing (NDT) work related to the repair and modernization of the Canadian-flagged vessel "Terra Nova FPSO".
This vessel, in service since 2002, of 110,720 gross tons and 120,000 deadweight tons, has a hull of 292.20 m overall length, 45.50 m beam and 27.94 m depth. In addition, it has a storage capacity of 153,000 m3 and a daily processing capacity of 24,000 m3 of oil and 150×106 m3 of natural gas.
