The Refugee Reception Center (CAR) in Mislata (Valencia) has begun to offer its users and residents Spanish language training and literacy programs through Nascor Formación. OCA Global's training division has been in charge of developing and implementing this training with the aim of guaranteeing the linguistic autonomy of the residents of the CAR as an essential factor in their social and labor integration.
This service is directed to those people who have no knowledge of our language or a very low level. For this reason, Nascor's teaching team has given a course of introduction and initiation to the Spanish language, to which the residents of the CAR whose mother tongue is not Spanish have been incorporated, as they have been entering the center. This course lasted 2 or 3 weeks, depending on the case.
It is a training course classified in levels A1, A2 and B1 and given in groups of between 10 and 15 students. In addition, all the participants have benefited from a support group for oral language development, an ALE classroom, as well as a support classroom for residents with special needs.
