Storage facilities for consumption on the same premises
The work carried out in storage facilities for fuels for their consumption on the same premises is carried out in brand new or existing establishments, in facilities such as:
- Fixed industrial installations: furnaces, burners, etc.
- Storage installations in mobile containers with fuels for industrial use.
- Fuels for heating or air conditioning.
- Fixed installations for non-productive internal uses in industries, such as generators.
- Those destined to supply fuel to internal means of transport operating within the company, as for example forklift trucks.
- Those destined to supply fuel to machinery other than vehicles.
Since the entry into force of the Regulation of oil installations (Reglamento de instalaciones petrolíferas), periodic inspections should be carried out every 5 or 10 years, depending on whether the type of installation requires a project or not.
